Birds, a serious hazard to aircraft, can now be dealt with in a smart way.

BirdGuard360 is a smart surveillance and repellent robot that autonomously patrols the boundaries of airport runways and taxiways, detects approaching birds in real time using AI, predicts their paths, and preemptively blocks the risk of aircraft bird strikes by emitting directional repellent sound waves.

Breaking away from conventional fixed-wing bombers or human-driven bird control methods, this system autonomously patrols the perimeter of the runway and responds immediately to bird sightings. This fundamentally reduces the risk of bird strikes, a threat to aircraft safety, and its 24-hour unmanned operation maximizes operational efficiency.

Level 4 Autonomous Driving Platform

Ensures safety through GPS/GNSS high-precision location recognition (cm level), LiDAR, camera, and radar sensor fusion, HD map-based precision driving and obstacle avoidance, and no-driving zone (Geofence) setting.

AI-based Bird Detection System

Wide-angle camera + zoom camera dualization for distance detection up to 300m, deep learning-based bird species identification and cluster analysis, bird migration path prediction and real-time tracking, and a detection rate of over 90% guaranteed.

Multi-Destruction Technology

Directional speaker (150W output, maximum 136dB), green laser (520nm, 1W output), PTZ drive for precise aiming in the direction of birds, repelling distance of over 100m, repelling rate of over 90%

Integrated Control System

Real-time bird detection status and location information visualization, remote manual control (with a delay of less than 500 ms), robot status monitoring and automatic charging management, and bird appearance pattern data analysis.

Key Features

  • Wide-area autonomous patrol: Autonomous patrols the entire perimeter of the runway and taxiway, minimizing blind spots. Capable of moving quickly at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
  • Real-time bird detection and tracking: AI cameras automatically detect birds up to 300 meters away, and zoom cameras precisely track them. Predict bird movement direction for proactive response.
  • Precision directional repellent: The PTZ actuator automatically rotates in the direction of the current to emit directional sound and laser. It operates only when necessary, minimizing noise.
  • Smart charging and return: Automatically returns to the charging station when missions are completed or the battery is low. Up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge.
  • Remote control and monitoring: Real-time robot location, bird detection status, and video data can be viewed via the control console. Remote manual control is also possible in emergency situations.
  • Safety operation system: Blocking runway access by setting a no-drive zone. Automatic avoidance and emergency braking when obstacles are detected.
